Roles and responsibilities
As a Research Associate, you will work closely with CSA’s research team and contribute to ongoing projects by:
● Supporting CSA in meeting project deliverables
● Conducting desk reviews of relevant literature, policies, and reports
● Assisting in the design of research tools and data collection methodologies
● Collecting and documenting primary data through fieldwork, interviews, and surveys
● Supporting data analysis using qualitative and/or quantitative methods
● Assisting in writing project reports, case studies, policy briefs, and other dissemination materials
● Providing regular progress updates and reports to the Project Head
● Undertaking any additional tasks assigned by the organization Qualifications and skills required
● 2+ years of experience in research, agriculture, rural development, or a related field
● Postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Agriculture, Development Studies, or related disciplines
● Strong qualitative and/or quantitative research skills
● Familiarity with data analysis tools such as NVivo, SPSS, STATA, or Excel is desirable
● Good writing and verbal communication skills in English and Telugu
● Familiarity with GIS and spatial data mapping is an added plus
● Willingness to travel and work at CSA’s project locations
● Ability to work independently as well as in a team
