1988	People’s Science Conference at Bangalore supported by EZE and ASW on Pesticide problems
	RHC management prog with Zonal Coordinator, Transfer of Technology (ToT) Unit, ICAR, Hyderabad; ASW/CWS; OXFAM; village based voluntary organizations as partners
1989	AP State Department of Agriculture joined as partner
	Covered 8700 ha in 95 villages in 12 districts of AP involving 21 NGOs
Phase 1: 1989-91	Covered 9561 (57 villages in 6 districts) with 16 NGOs by using solar lamps
Phase 2: 1992-93	Crops covered – castor, ground nut, sesame, sorghum and pigeon pea. RHC was eradicated in 152 villages and encouraged CWS to take up NPM by utilizing capacities of different actors
1994	Activities get extended to 35 villages; one village completely free from RHC
	Workshop at NAARM, to bring together initiatives working in NPM across country. A strategy paper on NPM was brought out. The NPM module developed
1995	NPM program took complete shape with ToT Unit of ICAR, DOR, government agencies and ICRISAT funded by HIVOS, ASW/CWS and OXFAM
1996-97	Implementation of NPM program with 6 KVKs and 3 village based NGOs
Phase 1: 1995-1997	HIVOS supported project on NPM for establishing the models in 10 villages in Andhra Pradesh
Phase 2: 1997-2001	on promoting Non Pesticidal Management for strengthening work in 10 villages in AP
1997-1999	Winrock international on use of solar light traps
1997-2001	IFAD and ICRISAT on IPM in pulses
Phase 3: 2001-2005	on promoting Non Pesticidal Management and setting up an Institute for an Independent Institute on Sustainable Agriculture
2001	NATP Validation of IPM modules
2002-2005	AEI, Luxemberg for establishing seed banks
2003-2005	NRI, UK, sustaining periurban vegetable production
2003-05	SCRI, DFID and ICRISAT on Combating Sterility Mosaic Virus in pigeon pea
