Location: Hyderabad for working in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana (with frequent field travel)

Type: Full-time

This role sits at the intersection of farmer collectives, markets, and sustainable food systems. The candidate will be responsible for building and strengthening market linkages for FPOs, while ensuring fair farmer remuneration, operational efficiency, and authentic brand positioning.

This is not a conventional marketing role—it requires ground engagement, systems thinking, and execution discipline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Linkages & Sales

  • Develop and manage market channels (B2B, retail, D2C, institutional buyers)

  • Identify and onboard new buyers (organic stores, retailers, bulk buyers)

  • Coordinate with FPOs for supply planning based on market demand

  • Support sales growth across Sahaja Aharam product lines

2. Marketing Operations

  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for FPO products (millets, pulses, oils, etc.)

  • Monitor sales performance, demand trends, and inventory movement

  • Ensure timely order fulfillment in coordination with FPOs and logistics teams

  • Handle market feedback loops (quality, pricing, consumer preferences)

3. Brand & Communication

  • Strengthen Sahaja Aharam’s identity as a farmer-driven, ecological brand

  • Support storytelling initiatives (farmer narratives, product origin, impact)

  • Ensure consistency in messaging across channels (online/offline)

  • Assist in campaigns, exhibitions, and awareness programs

4. Pricing & Farmer Economics

  • Support pricing decisions balancing farmer benefit and market competitiveness

  • Track cost structures across the value chain

  • Work with FPOs to improve price realization

5. Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate aggregation, quality checks, and dispatch across multiple FPOs

  • Address supply inconsistencies and operational bottlenecks

  • Support basic demand forecasting and planning

6. Data & Systems

  • Maintain sales, inventory, and customer data

  • Use the FPOhub ERP system and simple tools (Excel, CRM, etc.) for tracking and reporting

  • Generate periodic reports for decision-making

7. Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with NGOs, retailers, and ecosystem partners

  • Coordinate with certification systems (PGS/organic)

  • Align multiple stakeholders across the value chain

Candidate Profile

Essential

  • 2–5 years experience in marketing, agri-value chains, FPOs, or rural enterprises

  • Strong understanding of market systems and supply chains

  • Willingness to travel extensively and work closely with farmers

  • Ability to work in resource-constrained, dynamic environments

Preferred

  • Experience with FPOs, producer companies, or social enterprises

  • Exposure to organic/natural farming ecosystems

  • Familiarity with Andhra Pradesh/Telangana rural context

  • Basic understanding of pricing, margins, and logistics
