Period of Contract: Contract will be for a period of 24 months after initial probation period of 3 months but can be extended.

Salary: Salary will be decided based on the profile of the candidate.

About Us: The Centre for Sustainable Agriculture (CSA) (https://csa-india.org/ ) was established in 2004 with the goal of promoting sustainable food systems that are ecologically, economically, and socially viable. CSA implemented experimental approaches, including innovative practices, processes, and institutions, to build resilience against climate and market risks for farmer households and the primary work of CSA is spread across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Maharashtra states.

Program Focus: Promotion of Natural Farming & Processing (Oilseeds & Pulses)

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Program Coordinator to lead ourinitiatives in Telangana. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between sustainable production and market success, working closely with CSA-SHGs to build robust value chains for natural farming produce.
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Rural Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• At least 3 years of experience in livelihood programming, particularly in agriculture and ability to coordinate state level programs.
• Establishing and managing processing units specifically for oilseeds and pulses.
• Managing procurement processes and ensuring stringent quality control standards.
• Developing strategic partnerships and linkages to ensure fair market access for farmers.
• Strong understanding of sustainable agricultural practices and rural livelihoods.
• Experience working with local communities, NGOs, and government agencies.
• Excellent project management, training, and facilitation skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Telugu and English is a must
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites.
